October 23, 2002 - Painting.

Another sunny day combined with the holidays I took this week meant that I could start painting. Here you can clearly see the colour I've chosen. I also varnished the inner sides of the punt. It's quite a fiddly task trying to paint as close and straight to the edges and joins. Up at bow deck I couldn't quite reach under the decking, so I decided to stop painting along a line. Perhaps when the punt is dry I might paint that area after all, but I think I'll need to be standing in the punt.
