November 3, 2002 - Final Varnishing and Drying.

Well, here it is, with Ongar sitting inside it. I glued the two final deck pieces on last weekend, and this weekend I carried it out into the garden and gave it a final coat of varnish.

Of course there are still many other tasks - decking, building a tent, fitting the outboard engine, but what I have here is indeed a completed punt which could be taken on to the river and used.
